The surface quality of the automobile outer cover mold product is relatively high. The mold structure is complex and the processing requirements are also high. From the perspective of processing technology, the manufacturing of rotating shaft model needs to make processing auxiliary surface, and the selection of casting mouth needs to consider processing technology, so as not to cause difficulties for subsequent processing. Wedge machining datum surface is generally relatively small, which will cause clamping difficulties. The movement of workpieces will result in processing errors. It can be seen from the processing process of wedge assembly that it usually needs to be clamped and turned around repeatedly. In the process of machining, due to many times of clamping, alignment, coordinate system conversion and tool alignment will produce corresponding errors. The cumulative errors of cutting tools and machine tools will also directly affect the precision of trimming or flanging. Programming and processing should adopt the way of reducing cutting depth as far as possible, and check whether the workpiece moves at any time during processing. If the machining accuracy cannot be effectively guaranteed during the machining process, the error will be accumulated into the subsequent fitter assembly and debugging work.
